I qualified as a veterinarian in 2007 after completing a First Class BSc (Hons) in Biological & Medicinal Chemistry. I am currently completing my final-year MSc in Animal Nutrition.

As the owner and Managing Director of Hillcrest Veterinary Hospital, and the owner of Just for Pets, I remain closely connected to everyday questions about veterinary care, pet health and nutrition.
I also host The Paws & Effect Podcast, where specialist perspectives and the full discussion help owners understand the nuance behind complex pet-care questions.
I believe owners should understand the reasoning behind recommendations, be able to ask questions and play a meaningful role in decisions about their animals' care.
