Privacy Policy.

This website is operated by Dr Carra Walters [CLIENT: confirm the legal trading name and registered address]. In terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), Dr Carra Walters is the responsible party for the personal information collected through this website.

Enquiry forms. When you use the Contact form or the Work with Dr Carra form we collect your name, email address, the subject or type of enquiry, and the message you write. We use it only to read and reply to your enquiry.

Form storage. Submissions are stored on this website's server so we can find your message again and reply. They are also sent by email to the address that handles enquiries. Submissions are deleted when they are no longer needed for the enquiry, and at the latest after twelve months.

Technical data. Like every website, our server records technical details of each visit such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, for security and troubleshooting. We do not use these logs to identify you.

Analytics. This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

Some pages embed content from YouTube, Spotify and Instagram. When a page with an embed loads, that service may set cookies and receive your IP address and information about the page you are viewing, exactly as if you had visited that service directly. Their privacy policies apply to that data: YouTube and Google (policies.google.com/privacy), Spotify (spotify.com/privacy), Instagram and Meta (privacycenter.instagram.com).

We do not sell or rent personal information. Enquiries are seen by Dr Carra and the people who help manage her communications. Our website is hosted in South Africa by xneelo, and our website developer, Hotspot Digital, may see stored form entries while maintaining the site. Both act on our instructions and under confidentiality.

Under POPIA you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we process it. Use the Contact page to ask. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).

This website is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it last changed.
